You can make an enormous difference every day to your carbon footprint by thinking about what you buy.

This includes major purchases, such as buying a car, a computer or other electronics, buying appliances such as a fridge or dishwasher, clothing and furniture.

It includes not only physical goods, but also services that we purchase, such as insurance and Netflix.

And it includes everyday purchases such as garbage bags and bin liners, toothbrushes and washing powder.
